Terms of Service

Welcome to Xobni! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Xobni website, services, and integrations (“Services”). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, and our Privacy Policy.
Who We Are
Xobni provides AI-powered calendar coordination and scheduling services that integrate with platforms such as Google Calendar (via OAuth). These Terms are a legal agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and Xobni (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Have the legal authority to enter into these Terms;
- Agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes.
- If you’re using the Services on behalf of an entity (e.g., a company), you confirm you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In that case, “you” refers to the entity.
Your Account and Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password;
- All activity under your account;
- Ensuring all data provided is accurate and up-to-date;
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or use.
You may maintain one Account. Additional or duplicate accounts may be terminated. Paid accounts are subject to billing terms outlined in Section 6.
Use of Google APIs and OAuth Permissions
- When connecting your Google Calendar, you explicitly authorize Xobni to access certain data via Google’s OAuth 2.0 framework.
- We request read-only access to your calendar availability data (free/busy status only).
- No event content, attendee data, or full calendar entries are read, stored, or shared.
- We use this access solely to deliver the scheduling features of the Service.
- We do not use your Google data for any prohibited purposes, including:
- Targeted or personalized advertising
- User profiling
- Sale or transfer to data brokers
- AI model training
- Use of Google data is subject to Google’s API Services User Data Policy and the Limited Use Requirements.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for unlawful purposes;
- Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or sublicense the platform;
- Use bots or automation to abuse the system;
- Misuse calendar access granted via Google OAuth;
- Upload malware or interfere with our systems.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or applicable law.
Fees, Billing, and Renewals
- Accounts include basic access to the Services.
- Paid Accounts are billed in advance and auto-renew unless canceled 45 days before the end of the billing term.
- Fees are non-refundable.
- You’re responsible for keeping your billing information up-to-date.
- We may adjust pricing and will notify you in advance of any changes.
Intellectual Property
- All rights to the Services and related materials belong to Xobni.
- You retain rights to any data or content you upload (excluding Google data, which remains yours).
- By submitting feedback, you grant us the right to use it without obligation or compensation.
Service Availability and Support
We strive to maintain uptime and offer reasonable support through our published channels. However, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the platform will meet every use case.
Data Retention and Deletion
- You may delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting howdy@xobni.io.
- Upon deletion, we permanently remove your credentials and associated data.
- We retain minimal operational data as required by law or to ensure system integrity.
- Google OAuth permissions may be revoked at any time via your Google Account settings.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
- Our maximum liability under these Terms is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months.
- Disputes must be brought within one (1) year.
Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
- Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under JAMS in the State of Georgia, unless small claims court applies.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes are made indicates acceptance of the revised Terms. We will provide notice of material changes.
